About
Trevor Hogan is a Lecturer in the Department of Media Communications, Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland. Trevor holds a B.Des in Product Design, Ceramics 1st class honours from Limerick School of Art and Design and an MSc in Interactive Media (1st class honours) from the University of Limerick. Trevor has had an ongoing interest in the user experience surrounding the point in space or time where a human interacts with a computational device, from a press, click, point, drag, drop, to a touch, tap, swipe and on to a smile, frown, blink or thought. His present research interests are concerned with supporting alternative input through Reality-Based Interaction, Augmented Reality, Tangible Interfaces, Multimodal Interaction and Post-WIMP Interfaces. Also, visualising data through Ubiquitous Computing, Context-Aware Computing and Ambient Information Systems.
